10K Temperature Sensor (Thermistor)

A 10K temperature sensor, also known as a thermistor, is a form of resistor that alters its resistance value in correspondence with temperature variations. The term “10K” denotes its resistance value at 25°C, which stands at 10,000 ohms. Thermistors find frequent application in temperature sensing and control tasks due to their heightened sensitivity and swift response time. They are often favored over alternative temperature sensors like thermocouples and RTDs because they are smaller in size, more economical, and simpler to employ.
