The APM 2.8 Multicopter Flight Controller is the ultimate open-source autopilot system for RC drones and DIY UAVs. An upgraded version of the popular APM 2.6, this model features a built-in compass with the option to switch to an external one. It’s compatible with multi-copters, rovers, and fixed-wing aircraft, turning any vehicle into a fully autonomous machine capable of GPS-guided waypoint navigation using Mission Planner software.
