Description
The MOC3021 is a zero-crossing triac driver optocoupler that provides electrical isolation between low-voltage control circuits and high-voltage AC loads. It integrates an infrared LED and a phototriac output, enabling safe triggering of triacs for AC power control applications. Commonly used in light dimmers, motor controls, and solid-state relays.
