- Commonly called PCB by hobbyists.
- Ideal for project work and prototyping.
- 0.1 inch pitch and 1mm holes.
- General purpose board primarily used for components & IC for quick testing, sample circuite, experiments, learning etc.
Vero board can be used to build prototypes for bench testing, design early electronic circuits, or produce entire electronic equipment in small quantities. The Vero Electronics Department used Veroboard for prototype building for the first time in 1961.
By soldering components to the Vero boards, one can construct circuits. Wires route in the direction specified by the arrangement. A breadboard, on the other hand, is a board with a lot of spring terminals placed such that it is simple to assemble circuits by simply plugging single-strand wires into the holes.
A PCB’s production will typically cost between Rs.44 to Rs.60 per board. Based on the parts, size, and type of material used, the manufacturer will decide on the final pricing, which could be more or lower.
