CR2032 Coin Cell Battery Holder

The CR2032 coin cell battery holder provides a PCB mount socket for CR2032 and CR2025 lithium coin cells, the most common 3V button cell format used for RTC backup, BIOS clock retention and low power memory circuit supply. Soldering the holder to a PCB gives the circuit a removable battery connection rather than a soldered cell the coin cell pops in and out by hand when replacement is needed, without desoldering anything from the board.

The cr2032 battery holder 24mm diameter and 7.5mm height fits standard through hole PCB footprints designed for this cell format. The open frame without cover design keeps the coin cell accessible from above no latch or cover to open. The coin cell battery holder plastic body with spring metal contacts holds the CR2032 or CR2025 cell in firm contact during circuit operation.
