The iMAX B6 DC B6DC LiPo Battery Balance Charger is the standard entry-level balance charger for LiPo drone batteries, providing safe, cell-balanced charging for all the 3S LiPo packs range — the BONKA 5200mAh, 4200mAh, 2200mAh U2 Series battery pack. A balance charger charges each individual cell in the LiPo pack to exactly 4.2V rather than simply pushing current into the whole pack until the total voltage reaches its maximum — this per-cell balancing is what prevents individual cells from overcharging or becoming unbalanced, which is the primary cause of LiPo battery swelling, reduced lifespan, and fire risk during charging.
The imax b6 charger’s backlit LCD screen displays real-time cell voltage, charge current, capacity charged, and elapsed time during the entire charging session. The imax b6 lipo battery charger supports six different battery chemistry types — LiPo, Li-ion, LiFe, NiMH, NiCd, and lead acid (Pb) — making it suitable for charging all battery types commonly used in RC drone from a single charger unit. The charge current is adjustable from 0.1A to 5A, and the maximum charge power is 50W, when charging at the standard 1C rate — 2.2A for 2200mAh packs, 4.2A for 4200mAh, and 5A for the 5200mAh battery pack.
The lipo battery balance charger operates from an 11 to 18V DC input — it is the B6DC (DC-only) version and requires an external 12V DC power supply or a 12V car battery as the power source, as it does not include an AC mains input. This b6dc lipo battery charger is ideal for charging LiPo, Li-ion, NiMH, RC drone and multirotor battery balance charging.
