The LED Display Digital DC Voltmeter shows live DC (Direct Current) voltage on a 0.56 inch red LED (Light Emitting Diode) numeric display. The 0.56 inch voltmeter reads directly from the source — two wires connect to the positive and negative terminals, and the reading appears on screen within about 500 milliseconds. No extra power supply wire is needed. The module draws its own operating power from the measured circuit.
The dc digital voltmeter updates its reading approximately every 500ms, which means you see voltage changes in near real-time. One non-obvious detail — because the module powers itself from the measured source, it cannot display voltages below its own 4.5V minimum operating threshold. If your source drops to 3V, the display goes blank. The honest limitation is the 36V upper limit — for circuits above 36V DC, a resistor divider or a higher-range voltmeter is needed.
The digital voltmeter display panel fits standard rectangular cutouts in project enclosures and control panels.
