The Digital LED DC Voltmeter Ammeter 100V 100A is a panel-mounted dual meter that shows voltage and current on two LED (Light Emitting Diode) displays simultaneously. The dc ampere meter digital section reads up to 100A using an external shunt (a low-resistance current sensing component). Voltage and amp measurement covers 0V to 100V DC and 0A-100A. Both readings refresh every 500ms and accuracy holds at ±1%.
The dc ammeter section requires an external shunt for current readings above a few amps — the module does not include a shunt. The non-obvious detail is that the meter needs its own separate power supply between 4.5V and 30V DC. You cannot power it from the circuit you are measuring.
