The ZB2L3 18650 li-ion lithium battery capacity tester module board measures the actual usable capacity of a lithium cell by discharging it through an external load resistor from full charge down to a set termination voltage, counting the milliamp-hours delivered during that discharge. The number displayed at the end of the test is the cell’s real capacity not the label printed on the wrapper. A cell labelled 3000mAh that actually delivers only 1800mAh under load is revealed immediately by a ZB2L3 test, which is exactly this module exists for verifying bulk cell.
The zb2l3 battery tester module discharge voltage range of 1V to 15V at 0.01V resolution covers standard 3.7V Li-Ion cells, LiFePO4 cells, and NiMH cells across their full usable discharge windows. The termination voltage is user-configurable from 0.5V to 11V, allowing the test endpoint to be set precisely to the cell chemistry’s safe minimum discharge voltage typically 3V for Li-Ion 18650 cells. Maximum capacity display of 9999Ah accommodates even very large format cells or multi-cell parallel pack tests without range overflow.
The li ion battery tester module requires a 4.5V to 6V DC external power supply for its own operation and a separate external load resistor through which the cell discharges during the test. An external load resistor at 7.5 ohms on a 3.7V cell produces approximately 500mA discharge current, completing a 2000mAh cell test in roughly 4 hours.
