The CellMeter-7 Digital Battery Capacity Checker for LiPo, Li-ion, NiMH Packs connects to the balance plug of a LiPo, Li-Ion, or LiFe pack or to NiCd and NiMH packs through the appropriate connector and displays individual cell voltages and overall pack capacity on a digital LCD screen. Knowing individual cell voltages tells the operator something a simple pack voltage reading cannot: whether the cells are balanced or whether one cell is lagging behind the others. A pack with cells diverging by more than 0.1V needs balance charging before use, and a pack where one cell reads below 3.5V on a lithium pack warrants immediate attention.
The lipo checker cellmeter 7 supports lithium chemistry packs from 2S to 7S and NiCd/NiMH packs from 4 to 7 cells covering the full range of pack configurations used in RC aircraft, ground vehicles, and DIY portable power from a single handheld tool. The 7-way cell meter shows capacity as a percentage indicator alongside individual cell voltages, giving both a quick glance metric and the detailed cell-level data needed to make charging and usage decisions.
