3.7V 600mAh Lithium Polymer Battery – KP Battery

The 3.7V 600mAh Lithium Polymer Battery from KP Battery is a single-cell 1S LiPo at 3.7V nominal and 600mAh capacity, terminated with open-ended bare wire leads. At 600mAh, this cell stores 2.22Wh of energy 20% more than the 500mAh variant at the same nominal voltage, making it suitable where the 500mAh pack falls slightly short on runtime without needing to step up to the larger 1100mAh format. The flat lithium polymer pouch format stays lightweight and compact, suiting micro RC aircraft, small drone, and portable sensor enclosures.

The lipo battery bare wire leads allow the maker full connector flexibility solder directly to charge module PCB pads, crimp a 1.25mm or 2mm JST connector to match the target board, or attach balance leads for a dedicated 1S LiPo charger. At 60mA average draw typical for a WiFi-enabled IoT module in active transmission mode the 600mAh cell delivers approximately 10 hours of continuous runtime per charge. The 3.7v lipo battery charges to 4.2V full using a 1S LiPo specific charger TP4056 and MCP73831-based modules both handle this cell correctly when connected to the bare wire leads.

The lithium polymer 600mAh battery flat pouch must not be discharged below 3V per cell. Over-discharge at or below this point causes permanent internal cell damage that manifests as visible pouch swelling on subsequent charging attempts. A swollen LiPo must be taken out of service immediately. Open ended wire leads must be insulated with tape or heat-shrink whenever the cell is not connected exposed positive and negative leads that touch each other cause an immediate short circuit.
