Aluminium Water Cooling Plate 40x80x12mm Water Block

The Aluminium Water Cooling Plate 40x80x12mm uses an elongated base that covers larger surface areas than square 40 x 40 mm blocks — making it suitable for dual-cell TEC Peltier arrangements, rectangular high-power IGBT modules, and elongated laser bar packages that a smaller square block would not fully cover. Water cooling plates remove heat from a component surface by conducting it through a metal block into flowing coolant water inside. The component mounts flat against the plate base with thermal paste filling surface gaps, and the water flowing through internal channels carries heat away continuously to a radiator or reservoir outside the system.

The aluminium water cooling block material conducts heat well and processes to flat base surfaces suitable for direct component contact. Aluminium is lighter than copper at equivalent block volume, which matters in weight-sensitive builds. The 7mm nozzle accepts 7mm inner diameter silicone tubing commonly used in compact liquid cooling systems. At 12mm block height, the water block profile stays low enough for most enclosure mounting arrangements.

Aluminium not mixed with copper radiators or copper fittings in the same cooling loop without a galvanic corrosion inhibitor added to the coolant — without the inhibitor, the dissimilar metals react electrochemically, producing oxide deposits that reduce flow through the narrow internal channels over time.
