F550/Q550 Glass Fiber Hexacopter Frame Kit 550mm

The F550/Q550 Glass Fiber Hexacopter Frame Kit is a 550mm wheelbase six-arm drone frame made from ABS plastic center plates and glass fiber arms, designed for building a hexacopter — a six-motor multirotor that provides more lift capacity and motor redundancy than a four-motor quadcopter. With six motors, the hexacopter can continue to fly and land safely if one motor or ESC fails mid-flight, making it a more reliable platform for photography, payload, or long-endurance drone builds than a quadcopter of similar size. This f550 hexacopter frame includes an integrated PCB in the bottom center plate that distributes power from the battery to each ESC without requiring a separate power distribution board, simplifying the wiring and reducing component count in the build.

The hexacopter drone frame comes with six arms in three colors — two red, two white, and two black — which allows the builder to assign clockwise and counter-clockwise motor positions by arm color during assembly, making it easier to install propellers in the correct CW/CCW orientation without marking individual arms. Each arm measures 220mm × 55mm and has a 3mm motor mount hole diameter compatible with M3 mounting screws on standard brushless motors.

The 550mm wheelbase accommodates 2212 to 2216 series brushless motors with 9 to 10 inch propellers.
