The MOC3023 is an optically coupled isolator featuring a Gallium Arsenide infrared LED paired with a light-activated silicon bilateral switch that acts as a triac driver. It provides safe electrical isolation and efficient AC load control. Packaged in a compact 6-pin DIP, it’s ideal for driving triacs in various AC power control applications.
