The 1245 Drone Aircraft Propeller Blade Set is a 12 inch diameter, 4.5 inch pitch plastic propeller pair in black — the largest propeller size, drone propeller lineup, significantly bigger than the 9.4 inch 9450 propellers used on F450 and F550 frames and the 6 inch 6045 mini quad props — designed for larger hexacopter and octocopter platforms where 12 inch propellers spinning at lower RPM on high-torque, lower-KV motors generate the high disc loading area and efficient air movement needed to lift heavier payloads such as cameras, gimbals, and survey equipment. The 1245 drone propeller is the standard prop size for builds above the F550 class that require more than 500g of thrust per motor position.
The propeller for diy drone has a 6mm shaft hole diameter, directly compatible with the 6mm motor shaft used on the DJI 2212 920KV series brushless motors and similar low-KV large frame motors — no adapter is needed to mount the 1245 propeller directly onto these motor shafts. The cw and ccw propellers pair includes one 1245 clockwise and one 1245R counter-clockwise propeller covering one diagonal motor pair, with the alternating CW and CCW rotation cancelling torque across the drone during hover for stable flight.
