1S-8S Li-ion Battery Level Indicator Module

The 1S-8S Li-ion Battery Level Indicator Module displays the remaining charge in a lithium battery pack as a visual 4-bar green LED graph similar to the battery indicator on a smartphone but designed as a standalone module for embedding into DIY enclosures, robot chassis panels, and portable instrument front panels. Each bar represents approximately 25% of the remaining capacity, giving an immediate visual read on whether the pack needs charging without connecting a voltmeter or a display module with complex wiring.

The 1s 8s li ion module covers packs from a single 3.7V cell up to 8 cells in series across an operating voltage range of 3V to 34V DC. The module comes pre-set for 1 cell at the factory before connecting to a multi-cell pack, the cell count must be configured to match the actual pack configuration so the bar graph correctly represents 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% states for that specific cell count and chemistry. Connecting a 3S pack to a module set for 1S will show incorrect full charge at what is actually a low state for the 3S configuration.

The battery level checker module draws only 5mA during operation, a negligible load on most pack capacities, causing less than 1% capacity drain per day even on small 500mAh cells. Operating temperature from -20°C to +50°C covers standard indoor and light outdoor environments. The 1s8s module suits robot chassis charge displays and power bank remaining capacity indicators  where the user needs a quick visual charge level reference.
