The 8045 Drone Aircraft Propeller Blade Set is an 8 inch diameter, 4.5 inch pitch black plastic CW and CCW propeller pair that fills the mid-size position between the 6 inch 6045 mini quad propellers and the 9.4 inch 9450 F450 class propellers in the StemVolt drone propeller range — suited to 330 to 400mm class quadcopter frames where 8 inch props spinning on 1400KV to 1800KV brushless motors provide a balance between the quick response of smaller props and the greater thrust of larger props that this frame size class needs for stable general-purpose and FPV flying. The 8045 drone propeller pairs naturally with the A2212 1400KV and 1800KV motors, which at 3S LiPo deliver RPM ranges tuned for the 7 to 8 inch prop load.
The drone propeller for diy drone set includes one 8045 clockwise rotation propeller and one 8045R counter-clockwise rotation propeller as a matched pair for one diagonal motor pair. The cw and ccw propellers pair in black plastic provides more swept disc area and therefore more thrust per revolution than the 6 inch 6045 props, allowing 330 to 400mm builds to carry more payload or fly more efficiently than they would on smaller props at the same throttle setting.
