The DHT22 Temperature and Humidity Sensor Module is a digital temperature and humidity sensor measuring -40°C to 80°C temperature and 0 to 100% RH humidity with a 0.1% RH humidity resolution and 0.1°C temperature resolution, operating from 3.3V to 5V with low power consumption. The temperature and humidity sensor’s 0.1% RH resolution means the module reports humidity in fine tenths-of-a-percent steps — unlike the DHT11 which reports only in whole-number percent steps, the DHT22 captures gradual humidity changes that would be invisible to coarser-resolution sensors.
