The rain water sensor’s analog output (AO) provides a graduated reading proportional to how much of the grid is wet, useful for estimating rain intensity, while the digital output (DO) gives a simple threshold-triggered rain/no-rain signal for the rain detector for Arduino interrupt-based wake-up logic.
