The sma antenna connects via a standard SMA-Male plug and covers the GPS L1 band from 1570 to 1610 MHz, which is the frequency range used by all GPS satellites worldwide. It draws 15mA at 2.7V to 5V DC, meaning the GPS module itself supplies the power through the coaxial cable (the shielded signal wire inside the cable). No separate power connection is needed.
