The DC-DC XL6009 Adjustable Step Up Module with Digital Display is a compact boost converter board that takes a lower input voltage between 3V and 32V and raises it to a higher adjustable output voltage between 5V and 35V — so a 12V battery can be boosted to 24V, or a 5V USB power source raised to any voltage the project needs up to 35V, with the output set precisely by turning an onboard potentiometer while watching the real-time reading on the built-in digital LED voltage display. This xl6009 step up module is the opposite of a voltage regulator that steps voltage down, making it suitable for powering motors, charging circuits, LED drivers, and higher-voltage devices from a lower-voltage battery.
