The INMP441 MEMS Omnidirectional Microphone Module is a mini MEMS microphone using Inter-IC Sound (I2S) digital communication, with 61dBA signal-to-noise ratio, 60Hz to 15000Hz frequency range, 26dBFS sensitivity, drawing 1.4mA at 3.3V. Unlike analog electret microphone modules that output a varying voltage requiring an external analog-to-digital converter, this omnidirectional microphone transmits digital audio data directly over the I2S bus, eliminating analog noise pickup along connecting wires.
