Description

The 10K Thermistor Temperature Sensor Module uses an NTC thermistor (a resistor that changes its 10K ohm resistance with temperature) to measure temperatures from -25 to +80 degrees Celsius. The temperature sensor module runs on 3.3V to 5V DC and uses the LM393 comparator IC (a chip that compares two voltage levels) to output a clean digital HIGH or LOW signal when temperature crosses a set threshold.

The thermistor’s resistance decreases as temperature increases, not increases. One honest limitation of the 10k thermistor sensor is that the digital output only tells hot or cold relative to a threshold, not the exact temperature value use the analog pin for that.
