Description

The DC 0-25V Voltage Detection Sensor Module measures DC (Direct Current) voltage from 0.02445V up to 25V and outputs an analog signal to your microcontroller. The voltage sensor uses a precision resistor divider (two resistors that scale down the input to ADC-safe levels) built directly onto the PCB. The arduino voltage sensor connects to any analog pin without extra components. No coding library is needed to start reading values.

The dc voltage sensor has an analog resolution of 0.00489V per ADC step. One non-obvious detail — the module draws a small continuous current through its resistor divider even at idle. Disconnect it between measurements on battery-powered builds. The honest limitation is the 25V ceiling. Exceeding this permanently damages the resistor network. The 25v voltage detection sensor works with Arduino, ESP32, and STM32 analog inputs. To start, connect VCC to 5V, GND to GND, and signal to an analog pin. StemVolt supplies this module tested with confirmed analog output.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the DC 0-25V Voltage Detection Sensor Module measure a 12V car battery?
+
Yes. The DC 0-25V Voltage Detection Sensor Module reads any DC voltage from 0.02V to 25V. A 12V battery reads clearly on the analog output connected to an Arduino pin.
What happens if I apply more than 25V to the voltage sensor?
+
The resistor divider — two resistors that scale down voltage on the PCB — gets permanently damaged. Never exceed 25V at the input terminal under any conditions.
How do I convert the DC 0-25V Voltage Detection Sensor Module output to real voltage?
+
Multiply the ADC — Analog to Digital Converter — reading by 0.00489V to get the scaled output. Then multiply by 5 to recover the actual input voltage in your Arduino sketch.
Does the Arduino voltage sensor need a separate power supply?
+
No. Connect VCC to the Arduino 5V pin and GND to ground. The module draws its own operating power from these two pins without any extra supply needed.
Is the 25V voltage detection sensor suitable for a solar panel monitor project?
+
Yes. Solar panels in small off-grid setups typically output 12V to 24V open circuit, which falls within the 0.02V to 25V detection range without any modification.
