The AC Voltage Detection Sensor Module measures AC (Alternating Current) mains voltage using a precision isolation transformer (a component that transfers a proportional signal from the AC side without electrical contact between the two sides). The zmpt101b voltage sensor outputs a safe analog voltage that your microcontroller reads through a standard ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) pin. It runs on 5V to 30V DC and operates at 50Hz, the standard Indian mains frequency.

The voltage sensor zmpt101b needs software calibration before readings become accurate. Raw ADC values from the output do not directly equal volts. The honest limitation is that without applying a scaling factor against a known reference voltage, readings drift by half a pH or more. Keep this step in mind before deploying.
