The Analog PH Sensor Module Kit measures pH (the scale from 0 to 14 that tells you how acidic or alkaline a liquid is) using a glass electrode probe (a sealed glass-tip sensor that generates a voltage based on hydrogen ion concentration in the liquid). The analog ph sensor module outputs a voltage through the BNC connector (a standard lab connector) on the amplifier board, which your microcontroller reads through an analog pin. It covers the full pH range from 0 to 14 and reaches a settled reading within 1 minute.

The analog ph sensor kit with ph probe achieves ±0.01 pH accuracy, which is tighter than most entry-level pH sensors. One non-obvious detail — the glass pH electrode ages over time. Storing it dry between uses shortens its working life noticeably. Keep the electrode tip wet in a storage solution or plain water when not in use. The honest limitation is calibration — the module requires two-point calibration (adjusting output at pH 4.0 and pH 7.0 buffer solutions) before use. Without calibration, readings can drift by 0.5 pH or more. The input supply voltage is 5V plus or minus 0.2V, so regulated 5V from an Arduino power pin is the correct supply.

The analog ph probe connects to Arduino IDE, PlatformIO, and Python environments through a standard analog pin. Engineers make hydroponics project, water quality index and researchers all use it regularly. To start, calibrate with buffer solutions, connect the BNC probe, and read the analog voltage.
