DJI 2212 920KV Brushless DC Motor for Drone (CW Rotation, Black Cap)

The DJI 2212 920KV Brushless DC Motor with Black Cap is the clockwise rotation variant of the 2212 920KV brushless motor series — identified by the black motor cap that distinguishes it from the counter-clockwise silver cap variant — and is the second motor type required to complete a full F450 quadcopter motor set. A standard F450 quadcopter requires two clockwise motors and two counter-clockwise motors placed at alternating diagonal positions: the CW motors (this black cap variant) go to the front-left and rear-right arm positions, while the CCW motors (silver cap) go to the front-right and rear-left positions.

This rc drone motor shares the same technical specifications as the CCW silver cap variant — 920KV rating, 500g maximum thrust, 2S to 4S LiPo input at 7V to 12V, 30A ESC requirement, 28mm motor diameter, 6mm shaft, M3 standard mounting, and pre-soldered 3.5mm gold bullet connectors on the three phase wires.

The cw drone motor’s pre-soldered bullet connectors allow direct connection to the ESC output wires without additional soldering at the motor end, with the phase wire connection order determining effective spin direction — swapping any two of the three phase wires reverses the motor direction if needed during build testing.
